Anthony D. Sciara, PhD, ABPP, CLCP

 

Anthony Sciara is a Clinical Psychologist who, from 1988 - 2006, has had a private practice in Asheville, North Carolina. He specializes in evaluations for clients with physical, psychological and neuropsychological deficits; prepares vocational, rehabilitation and Life Care Plans; and, provides evaluations for clients involved in criminal, domestic, and other civil proceedings. From 1988 - 2006 Dr. Sciara was a senior faculty member for Rorschach Workshops headquartered in Asheville, NC.

 

Dr. Sciara earned his PhD degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska.  He is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology and a fellow of the Academy of Clinical Psychology.  He has published articles in a number of publications such as the Journal of Personality Assessment, American Psychologist, Forensic Reports, Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation, The Psychiatric Hospital, Journal of Clinical Neuropsychology, etc.  He is a past president of the North Carolina Psychological Association, and previous chairperson of the Asheville Area Psychologists.  Currently, he is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for Personality Assessment, and the International Rorschach Society.

 

Barry A. Ritzler, PhD, ABPP

 

Barry Ritzler, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at Long Island University in New York City.  His specialty is personality assessment; and in addition to working with doctoral students, he teaches graduate courses in Personality Assessment and Research Design.  He earned his doctoral degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and completed a post doctoral fellowship at Yale University.  For many years he was the Director of Clinical Training at the University of Southern Mississippi and Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.  Dr Ritzler currently lectures on the Rorschach method at Rutgers University in New Jersey and Yeshiva and Columbia Universities in New York City.

 

For more than fifteen years he was a Senior Facility Member of Rorschach Workshops and conducted workshops on the administration and interpretation of the Rorschach Comprehensive System.  He served as president of the Society for Personality Assessment (SPA) from 1995 - 1997.  Dr. Ritzler has been an invited speaker at international seminars in various countries, including Israel, Argentina, Italy, Canada, Spain, and Brazil.  He has published ten book chapters and over 75 articles in scientific peer reviewed journals.  In addition, he co-authored a book, The Quest for the Nazi Personality, 1996.  Currently, he is a consulting editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment, and serves as an editorial consultant for several other psychology journals.

 

 

Philip Erdberg, PhD, ABPP

 

Philip Erdberg, Ph.D., is a diplomate in clinical psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology.  Dr. Erdberg's longstanding interest is in using personality assessment to provide consultation for intervention.  He is a past-president of the Society for Personality Assessment, the 1995 recipient of the Society's Distinguished Contribution Award, and the 2001 recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Forensic Mental Health Association of California.  Dr. Erdberg was a senior faculty member and Research Council chair for Rorschach Workshops and is a member of the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute Curriculum Committee.  He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine, a consultant for a variety of school, clinical, and correctional settings,  and a frequent workshop presenter. Dr. Erdberg is co-author with John Exner of the third edition of The Rorschach, Volume 2, Advanced Interpretation, published by John Wiley & Sons (2005).

Anita L. Boss, Psy.D., ABPPAnita L. Boss, Psy.D., ABPP

Anita L. Boss, Psy.D. is a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology and the Society for Personality Assessment. Dr. Boss is a graduate of Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She worked for several years as a psychologist in correctional institutions and as a forensic psychologist at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC. Currently in private practice in Alexandria, VA, she provides psychological assessment and consultation to attorneys and the courts in criminal, civil, and immigration matters. Dr. Boss teaches personality assessment and forensic psychology at The Catholic University in Washington, DC and is the chairperson of the Society for Personality Assessment’s Continuing Education Committee.

 

GreeneRoger L. Greene, PhD

 

Roger L. Greene is currently a Professor at Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto, CA, where he served as Director of Clinical Training for a number of years. Dr. Greene has worked in a variety of clinical settings and with different types of patients in his clinical career. His particular area of interest clinically is in the assessment and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse. He has written a number of texts and articles on the use of the MMPI-2. His most recent book, The MMPI-2: An Interpretive Manual (2nd ed.) was published in 2000. His books on the MMPI/MMPI-2 have been among the standard references for over two decades. He is a Fellow of Division 12 of APA and the Society for Personality Assessment. He has served on the Board of Trustees and as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment for the Society of Personality.

 

 

HarrisonAllyson G. Harrison, PhD

 

Dr. Harrison earned her PhD in Psychology in 1992, from Queen's University in Kingston. She is the Clinical Director of the Regional Assessment & Resource Centre at Queen's University and holds an appointment as an Adjunct Professor in the department of Clinical Psychology at Queen's. Dr. Harrison has been active both nationally and internationally, providing continuing education on personality assessment and differential diagnosis of neurological disorders. At Queen's University, she has taught courses in advanced personality assessment, advanced clinical assessment skills, and pediatric neuropsychology.

 

 

Gregory J. Meyer, Ph.D.Gregory J. Meyer, PhD

Greg Meyer is a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of Toledo, where he teaches assessment and conducts assessment-related research. He received his degree at Loyola University in Chicago and then directed a psychological assessment program at the University of Chicago Medical Center for a number of years before taking an academic position. He has contributed to the research literature in psychological assessment through publications on various topics, many of which address the Rorschach and several of which have received awards for contributions to the literature. He is currently the Editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment and a fellow in the Society for Personality Assessment.
