Those attending the September Reunion Program were exceedingly positive and enthusiastic about their experience.  The Program opened on Thursday morning with a presentation by Tony Sciara and Barry Ritzler on the current status of the Comprehensive System.  A 27 page document written by Carl-Erik Mattlar, mainly concerning the new R-PAS System, was distributed to the group for discussion.  Those wishing to receive a copy of the document should contact Carl Erick Mattlar at ce.mattlar@netikka.fi.

In 1966 Weiner, Exner and Sciara published an article “Is the Rorschach Welcome in the Courtroom?” The article reported on a survey of almost 8000 federal and state court cases in which psychologists presented Rorschach testimony. That survey revealed in only six cases was the appropriateness of the Rorschach challenged and in only one case was the testimony not admitted. The conclusion of the study was clearly that the Rorschach is welcome in the courtroom. That study is now 14 years old and a similar study should be initiated to explore if there are different rates of acceptance now.

A good group is registered for the Program in San Francisco. Within the US attendees are coming from the states of California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Kansas, Maine, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Virginia, and Washington. Attendees from outside the US are coming from Canada, Brazil, and Hong Kong.
